Patient Fees and Insurance
Fees
Payment is due at the time of each visit. We accept the following forms of payment: check, cash or all major credit cards except AMEX. Patients are charged a flat rate so they know what to expect every visit. Doctors treat based on the patient's best interest and not by which service gets reimbursed by insurance companies.
Cancellation Policy
A 24-hour notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment. A full visit charge will be charged for cancellations
less than 24 hours.
Insurance
We are currently considered “out of network” for all major insurance companies. We can provide the necessary paperwork for you to process claims personally with your insurance company.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect for the first visit?
A new patient visit typically lasts one hour. You may like to come in a few minutes early to fill out paperwork. During the first visit, a doctor takes your history, performs an exam, reviews your patterns and symptoms, discusses your treatment plan, and treats you unless there is a contraindication to treatment. We have gowns and shorts available for you to change into for treatment if needed.
What can I expect for a typical visit?
Typical office visits are a half hour long and include chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, soft tissue work, and other modalities as needed based on your treatment plan. We have gowns and shorts available for you to change into for treatment if needed.
Once I start going to a Chiropractor, will I have to go forever?
The primary goal for each patient of Chiropractic Healing Arts Center is to remove the barriers to recovery and strengthen proper movement patterns. This will enable the patient to maintain the patterns over the long term. If the patient is not able to maintain the new patterns, they may choose to come back to us. Some patients decide to come in monthly for maintenance care, some patients come only during their active season (i.e., runners come often in the spring and summer and not as much in the fall and winter), and some patients come only when something new has happened or they know they are reverting to old patterns.
